Stanyajanana Kashaya is an Ayurvedic medicine in water decoction form. It is used induce breast milk production in mother. It is formulated based on Stanyajanana gana explained by Master Charaka. 

Stanyajanana Kashaya uses:

It stimulates mammary glands to produce good amount of breast milk in lactating mothers.

Shashtika – Rice grown in 60 days – Oryza sativa
Ikshuvalika – Hygrophila (root) – Asteracantha longifolia
Darbha – Desmostachya bipinnata
Kusha – Saccharum spontaneum
Kasha – Saccharum spontaneum
Gundra – Cyperus rotundus
Itkata – Sesbania bispinosa
Katruna
All the ingredients are added to 16 parts of water, boiled and reduced to 1/4th part, filtered and used.

Stanya Shodhana Kashaya is an Ayurvedic medicine in water decoction form. It is used to cleanse and detox breast milk in mother. It is formulated based on Stanyashodhana gana explained by Master Charaka. 

Stanyashodhana Kashaya uses:
It helps to cleanse and detox breast milk production in mother. It is especially helpful when the infant is sick and mother’s milk needs to be detoxified.

It cleanses and detoxifies breast milk. It is given to the mother, when baby starts getting frequent cold, cough, skin eruptions etc. It is also useful when the milk thickens causing plugging of milk ducts. Usually it is administered for a maximum period of 4 – 6 weeks.

All the ingredients are added to 16 parts of water, boiled and reduced to 1/4th part, filtered and used.

Gopanganadi Kashayam is a liquid medicine, an  Ayurvedic water decoction, used in the treatment of Pitta type of fever. This medicine is formulated based on Kerala Ayurvedic practice. Gopanganadi kashayam uses:
It is used in Ayurvedic treatment of Pitta type of fever, associated with burning sensation and excessive thirst.

Dose: 15 – 30 ml, once or twice a day, before food, or on empty stomach, as advised by Ayurvedic doctor.
It is usually administered along with sugar or honey.

Pharmaceutical importance: Usually all the Kashayam are administered while it is hot. But this Kahsayam is allowed to cool down and then only it is administered. This is because, the medicine is used in treating Pitta condition.

Note that the market available product of Kashayam will be having preservatives. So, question of heating or cooling does not arise. It should be taken as it is.

This Kashaya is also known as Pitta Jwarahara Kashaya.

Nimbamritadi Panchatiktam Kashayam is a liquid Ayurvedic medicine for abscess, fever, boils, arthritis, pustules etc. It is an Ayurvedic herbal decoction. It is also available in Kwatham tablet form as well.

Nagaradi Kashayam is an Ayurvedic herbal decoction, used in the treatment of fever. It is also called Amrutottharam Kashayam. It is also called as Nagaradi Kwatham. 

Nagaradi kashayam benefits:
It is used in all types of fevers. It contains Indian tinospora, ginger and Harad. All the three herbs possess potent antipyretic activity.

Nagaradi Kashayam Ingredients: 
Nagara – Ginger – Narahasta bhaga -2 parts
Amruta = Giloya = Tinospora cordifolia  – Triphani Sarpa Nayana Bhaga –  6 parts
Haritaki – Terminalia chebula – Hasti Anghri Bhaga (hands and legs) – 4 parts
It is added with 8 parts of water, boiled and reduced to quarter part.

Method of manufacturing:
All the ingredients in coarse powder form is added with 8 or 16 parts of water, boiled and reduced to 1/4 or 1/8th part, filtered and preserved.

Amrutottaram Kashayam dose: 
The dose is 12 – 24 ml, before food, at about 6 am and 6pm or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
It is usually advised to add equal amount of water to the kashayam.
It is usually administered along with a small spoon of sugar.

Anupana – Sharkara
Dose for children – 3 – 5 ml, mixed with equal or double quantities of water, once or twice a day, 15 minutes before food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

Packaging: –200 ml, concentrated Kashayam.
Appearance: dark brown to black
Taste – pungent, hot to bitter, astringent

There are no known side effects of this medicine.
A very high dose may cause mild stomach irritation and diarrhoea.

Chandanosiradi Kashayam is an Ayurvedic liquid medicine in herbal decoction form, used for Pitta balance. Chandana refers to sandalwood, Usira (Usheera) is Khas Khas grass. These two are the main ingredients in this medicine. 

Chandanosiradi Kashayam ingredients:
Chandana – Santalum album / Pterocarpus santalinus Usheera – Khas Khas  – Vetiveria zizanioides
Jalada – Musta – Nut grass (root) – Cyperus rotundus
Laja – Parched rice
Mudga – green gram – Vigna radiate
Kana – Pippali – Long pepper fruit – Piper longum
Yava – Barley

Method of manufacturing:
All the ingredients in coarse powder form is added with 8 or 16 parts of water, boiled and reduced to 1/4 or 1/8th part, filtered and preserved.

Chandanosiradi kashayam uses:
It is traditionally indicated in
Raktapitta  – bleeding disorders like nasal bleeding, Ulcerative colitis and menorrhagia  

Effect on Tridosha – Balances Pitta Dosha.

How it acts?
All the ingredients – Chandana, Usheera etc balances Pitta and are coolant in nature. Raktapitta or bleeding disorders have high Pitta (excess hotness). The coolant property of the herbs pacify Pitta.

Chandanosiradi kashayam

Dosage:
The dose is 12 – 24 ml, before food, at about 6 am and 6 pm or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.
It is usually advised to add equal amount of water to the kashayam.
This Kashayam is traditionally advised along with Balamoola Kashaya.

Anupana – Sharkara
Dose for children – 3 – 5 ml, mixed with equal or double quantities of water, once or twice a day, 15 minutes before food or as directed by Ayurvedic doctor.

Packaging: –200 ml, concentrated Kashayam.
Appearance: dark brown to black
Taste – Astringent to bitter
Common preservative used: Sodium benzoate

Shelf life: 3 years from the date of manufacturing.

Kalasakadi kashayam is a herbal decoction, used in the treatment of constipation, fever and low digestion. Kalasaka means Curry leaves. It is the main ingredient of this medicine.

For children between 5 – 12 years of age, dose is 5 – 10 ml, mixed with 15 – 20 ml of water, once or twice a day, before food or as directed by doctor.

Adjuvant- rock salt.
